This Jeep comes packed with options and has three powertrains available. The base engine option is a V-6 3.6-liter that puts out up to 293 horses. This engine option comes standard with RWD, but AWD is available. Another available engine is the venerable 5.7L V-8 engine that produces 357 horsepower. And the most fuel efficient option is the Jeep 4xe, or their plug-in hybrid version. This engine is an inline-4 2.0L 375 horsepower engine. The last two engines both come standard with AWD. The Trailhawk 4xe might be the most off-road capable trim of the lineup. This model comes packed with high-air intake and water sealing features that enable the Trailhawk to power through up to 24 inches of water right off the lot. The Grand Cherokee also has the Jeep terrain selection available which comes with four different terrain management systems including mud/sand, snow, rock, or sport for speed.
