What’s new for the 2024 Chevy Trax?
The Chevy Trax has been redesigned from the inside out! This new model is bigger, more stylish, and — somehow — more affordable than ever. Inside, you’ll find a roomier cabin for your loved ones and their cargo. Plus, this subcompact crossover comes with a longer list of standard safety aids and savvy infotainment gear. But perhaps the first thing you’ll notice is the Trax’s rugged new exterior style! This new model looks much more substantial, with a sporty front end and bold features that will remind you of a bigger SUV.
Which features will the 2024 Chevy Trax offer?
Shoppers will be able to select one of five trim models: the base LS, stylish 1RS, mid-level LT, increasingly stylish 2RS, and top-tier ACTIV. The LS and LT will be handsomely equipped with modern tech features, such as smartphone-friendly infotainment and vigilance-boosting safety aids. The 1RS and 2RS will add aesthetically pleasing accents, inside and out. And the all-new ACTIV will be the flashiest option, with titanium chrome accents and exclusive black wheels.

How powerful is the 2024 Chevy Trax?
As usual, the Trax aims to please, balancing a sporty around-town performance with a thrifty turbocharged powertrain. These new subcompact crossovers will use a six-speed transmission to send power to the front wheels. As of this writing, however, it looks like all-wheel drive won’t be available. Instead, you’ll find:
- Turbocharged 1.2-liter inline three-cylinder engine (137 horsepower, 162 lb-ft of torque)
- Six-speed automatic transmission
- Front-wheel drive
When can I order the 2024 Chevy Trax? How much will it cost?
The new Trax will come at a lower price than previous models, starting at $21,495. Chevy hasn’t yet said when order banks will open for this stylish new crossover, but keep checking back with us, because we’ll update this space when we know more.
